The Fine Arts Theater usually shows "adult films," but they rent the room out for uhhh... non-pornographic events. The promoter, a really nice guy named Michael Whittaker, is in the process of buying the place (sorry, porn fans!).
Anyhoo, we were invited to play by our friends Betwixt. Also on the bill (and headlining) were Portland locals, Eggbot, a fun garage duo of keyboards and drums. It was the usual small but appreciative crowd. Considering there were no stage monitors, we played pretty well. Well enough so that Michael wants us to play there again, and Betwixt asked Jon B. to record some theremin parts for their new CD (which he did in March)!
