The Lothars

Megapolis Festival, April 24, 2009, in Cambridge, MA

The Megapolis Festival was a weekend-long celebration of the craft of DIY audio creation. Artists, documentarians, musicians, and fans came together to share secrets on producing and presenting challenging audio works online, on-air, and on the stage.

The Lothars were honored to headline the opening night party at the Massasoit Elks Lodge in Cambridge, MA, that also features performances by Radio Wonderland, Die Schrauber, Boston Typewriter Orchestra and Peace, Loving

Once again, Dr. T provided visuals during our set and, as an added treat, the Lothars were joined on stage by guitar hero Mark Sullivan (who, we are told, has never played Guitar Hero) and cello heroine Wisteriax (who, we are told, has in fact played Guitar Hero several times). Lothars performances are rare enough even without talents like Mark and Wisteriax, so this was an extra-special treat.
